Traffic Training

OVERVIEW

The department is mandated to train traffic police officers and enhance their skills in preventing road carnage thus saving life and property in fulfillment of the mandate given by the Constitution of Zimbabwe Section 219.

It equip police officers of the rank of Chief Inspectors and below with:

• Knowledge of traffic legislation.
• Knowledge and skills in traffic patrol and enforcement techniques.
• Traffic Management techniques.
• Road traffic accident evaluation and investigation.
• Scene attendance and plans drawing.

The department offers the following courses:
