College Board of Governors
The Commissioner General of General Police established the Board of Governors for the Police Staff College. The Board of Governors consist of at least six members appointed by the Commissioner General of Police and an ex-officio member who naturally is the Principal Police Staff College. The appointment of members to the board was done after consultation with such organisations and persons representing the interests served by the College as the Commissioner General of Police considered as appropriate.
Functions of the Board
- To advise and make recommendations to the Commissioner General of Police on matters pertaining to welfare, education and training of students, and
- To make recommendations to any institution or other relevant authority through the Principal on matters pertaining to course content, introduction of new courses, and any other matters referred to it by the lower board or committees.
