Faculty:

The module is intended to equip and guide trainers, (particularly Police Trainers) with expertise and professionalism in training. It is designed to reflect an approach to training of law enforcement personnel and emphasise the acquisition of measurable skills, knowledge, attitudes, demonstrable importance and relevance to professional training.

 

Learning Outcomes

  • To equip police trainers with basic training methods skills.
  • To enable police trainers to identify needs, formulate objectives, and evaluate training programmes in their respective fields of work.

Duration

The certificate will be completed within a minimum period of six months.

 

Entry Requirements

To be eligible for admission applicants must: –

  • Satisfy the minimum requirements of passes in at least five [5] subjects, including English Language and Mathematics at ‘O’ Level
  • Must have served for not less than ten years in one of the three uniformed forces in Zimbabwe.
  • Be a practising trainer in one of the uniformed forces.

 

 

 

 

Target Audience

The program targets police officers and other members from the uniformed forces who are practicing trainers.
