OVERVIEW

The department has a supporting function which it carries out by performing the following functions:

  • Crafting the College’s annual training calendar
  • Coordinating student admissions to courses offered by the College.
  • Advertising for enrollment for prospective students
  • Coordinating the registration of all new students
  • conducting a verification exercise of students’ particulars and legibility for entry into respective programmes.
  • Allocation of student’s designated registration numbers which identifies the student during his/her study period.
  • Orientation of newly admitted students
  • Management of examinations which include the following:
  • Coordinating the preparation of examination question papers
  • Management and safe keeping of draft and final exam question papers and answer scripts.
  • Procurement of examination material
  • Coordination of the College Academic Board of Examiners
  • Being the link between Police Staff College and affiliate universities (University of Zimbabwe and Bindura University of Science Education) on all academic and quality control issues.
  • Coordinating moderation of question papers and answer scripts.
  • Drafting of the Examination timetable
  • Selection of Invigilators
  • Coordination of examinations writing
  • Processing and publication of results.
